Bourbon Smoked Sirloin Roast Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
- 1 pound bourbon soaked and smoked sirloin roast
- 8 slices of your favorite bread
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup bourbon barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set your grill or griddle pan over medium-high heat to get it ready
The smoked and soaked in bourbon sirloin roast should be cut into thin slices and set aside
Each piece of bread should have one side brushed with butter
Spread butter on one side of a slice of bread and place it on a clean surface
Add shredded sharp cheddar cheese, red onions, sliced sirloin roast, and bourbon barbecue sauce on top
Add another slice of bread on top, buttered side up, to make a sandwich
Do this again for the rest of the sandwiches
It will take about 34 minutes per side on the grill or griddle pan for the sandwiches to get toasty and the cheese to melt
Carefully flip the sandwiches over with a spatula so that the filling doesn't fall out
Take off the grill or pan, cut in half across the middle, and serve hot
If you want, you can add salt and pepper to taste
