California-Style Tacos



These tasty tacos will take you back to the beaches of southern California. They're great for a quick dinner during the week or a party on the weekend.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions:

Put the ground beef in a pan and cook it over medium-low heat until it turns brown and is fully cooked

Get rid of extra fat

To the pan, add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and garlic

Make sure the vegetables are soft

Pepper, salt, and chili powder should all be mixed in

Add two to three more minutes of cooking

You can warm the flour tortillas up in a dry pan or the microwave for 20 seconds

On each tortilla, put a small amount of the beef mixture

Cheese, diced tomatoes, and shredded lettuce should be put on top

Put sour cream on top of each taco and squeeze a lime wedge over it

Cut the tortillas in half and serve right away
