Vegan Bacon Potato Cheese Waffles
These vegan bacon potato cheese waffles are a delightful twist on the classic waffle recipe. They're crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with savory flavors. Perfect for a cozy brunch or a delicious savory snack!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups shredded potatoes
- 1 cup vegan cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup vegan bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup plant-based milk
- 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to heat it up
Shred potatoes, add vegan cheese, vegan bacon, flour, nutritional yeast, olive oil, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Mix everything together well in a large bowl
Slowly add the plant-based milk while stirring the batter until it gets thick
Put a little oil or cooking spray on the waffle iron once it's hot
Spread the batter out evenly on the waffle iron that has already been heated
Put the lid back on and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the food is golden brown and crispy
